Customs advisory primarily includes, but is not limited to, the following issues:
- Review of the existing system of the import and export of goods and identification of possible savings and risks of breaching customs and tax regulations (customs audit)
- Proposal for appropriate customs procedures and simplified procedures, including the negotiation and obtaining of necessary authorisations
- Customs payment optimisation, primarily the basis for customs duty calculation (customs value), classification and preferential origin of goods
- Determination and proving of the origin of goods
- Contractual arrangement regarding the representation in the customs procedure and relating services
- Representation in dealing with customs authorities
- Assistance in and dealing with customs authorities as part of inspections after the release of the goods
- Assistance in the preparation for the AEO (re)certification
- Review or implementation of procedures in the use of non-tariff measures in import and export (eg dual use goods)
- Preparation of applications, statements and remedies in customs issues
- Professional cooperation with attorneys-at-law in dealing with disputes relating to customs issues
- Registration of an import/export company for the EORI number
- Securement of the customs bond
- Tailor-made trainings on customs issues
